How often do you need to get your timing chain service?????

I have a 1996 nissan Maxima and I got it with 50K in 1999. I have never services the timing chain car now have 130K. How often do you have to get them serviced???? anyone

Chains should last the life of the engine. Sometimes the tensioner wares down, so if you hear your chain rattle, have the tensioner changed.

what does the chain rattle sound like? my I30 makes a clinking sound from the chain case when the throttle is pushed....how much are the tensioners to replace?

I was wondering why when i stand outside my car when it's on, it makes a kind of constant squeeking sound.....probably is the tensioners.....HOW MUCH??
