'96 Maxima Timing Belt or Chain?
Does the '96 maxima have a timing belt or chain or both? How often must I replace it/them? When I replace it, should I have the water pump changed, too?

100k should be inspected ... timing chain not a belt ...

A timing chain does not need to be inspected from what i know....
