cleaning the engine bay...

cleaning the engine bay...

in the detailing forum one person says just to spray the engine with a high pressure hose, but what do you have to cover up before you do this? Surely something shouldn't get wet.

one person in that forum also said you dont have to cover anything. why are you posting this question here anyway? why not just ask in that thread?

its a preference. some say you must. others say its whatever. whats the car worth to ya?

I think cause the last post in that threat is from 2002...I heard that you should cover your alternator, fuse boxes, battery, and any electrical wiring you see with plastic. Then spray down the engine with an old ketchup bottle with water in it.
