Filter and adapter plate

My stock airbox is taking up too much space and I'd like to clean that area up a bit for my wires and circuit breaker. Is this kit all I need to replace it? Or do I need to buy extra parts? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2427450740

Also, how would the pipe in this auction affect performance/sound:

And also, wouldn't this fit a '96 since the other auctions advertise 89-99 being the same size?

if you wanna save some money, i have an extra maf adapter brand new in the box. just get a 3 inch k&n filter from any auto supply store and it will be 10 times better than the one on ebay. i'll hook you up for 12 bucks shipped. pm me if you're interested.
