indiglo guages

today i install the reverse indiglo guages. and everything works fine except my speedometer. it doesn't start off at 0 when i start the car it starts off at 20mph and works fine from there. so now i have to subtract 20 from my actual mph that shows. any help on how to fix this?

I installed them too and my fuel gauge got screwd. The problem i found was that the needle kept getting stuck in the indiglow gauge thing. Try to take the speedo one off and see if that changes anything and while ur at it try to move it back too. (lol...i bet u were playing with the needles...cause i was!! hehe )

You probably overextended the needle, you need to "overextend" it back, but not too much as you might break it.

I had the same exact problem with my fuel guage because I think at one point, I pushed the needle too far up, to the Full position. So the needle on the guage made it seem like I had more fuel than I really did. The needle was saying that I had 1/8 of a tank of more gas than i really did.
I just fixed it the other day by pushing it back the other way, past Empty and even a lil more.

I think that this may be your problem.
Hope this helps.

Yea...that will only work for the fuel needles...u might have to get it checked out at the dealer if no one else knows how to fix it...my speedo needle is very sensitive and loose looking. I mean if I blow on it...it moves easily and freely...is urs like that too?? im a complete newbie when it comes to gauges.

it's like that when it stays on 20mph. when i put it to 80 and goes back down to 20. when i push it to 100 it goes back down to 20. and so on and so on. i just need it to go back to 0!! not 20

I dont know if you should take it apart...but there has to be a spring mechanism that returns the needle back to 0. Looks like something is wrong with that. You can try taking it apart...its a gamble and if it works good otherwise get a gauge cluster from ebay and get the odo fixed at the dealer. It shouldnt be stopping at 20mph...it would sux driving with it and calculating all the time.
