IAT or manifold air temperature sensor?

Hi. I'm new to the forum, Just got a 96 SE Hunter green maxima. I Just got mod chip off ebay said up to 15% more HP, so I said what the hell. Because im new to maxima I have now idea where the IAT or sometimes known as the manifold air temperature sensor is. Can someone give a idea where in the engine this is. Any help would be helpful. Thanks

You do know you just wasted your money on something that will give no improvement. Its a scam.

Your best bet is to throw that chip in the garbage.
It does absolutely nothing.

This is was advertised:
(Sounded good)

The ADVANCE Performance Chip Module works by altering the air/fuel ratio in the ECU. Expect 5-20 horsepower. The car is designed to regulate the amount of fuel used during different air temperatures. It is known that under cooler conditions the car combusts more fuel. When the engine heats up, certain vital censors can relay incorrect information to the ECU. To counteract that effect, this chip simulates cooler air temperatures, thus the vehicle's computer registers a slightly altered reading and increases the amount of fuel entering the engine. This simultaneously adds more power and adjusts the fuel curve to its optimal ratio. This chip also advances the timing up to 1.5 degrees resulting in a faster and hotter spark. It is also important to note that this chip will be a great addition to either modified or stock vehicles.
