Greasy wheels

Not to long ago i bought a set of 19 moda R6s and lately i have been finding grease all over the left side of the spokes after i get out from a drive. The grease is thick and being spit out alot. iam afraid that i am losing something valuable if it's not taken care of quickly. It isn't any kind of brake fluid because it's thick and black. I'm think that it's grease from the steering axle but not too sure. Any suggestion?

Your CV boot has a rip/tear in it. Get it fixed ASAP before the joint gets messed up. Also, I would suggest not driving on it but I did when my boot went out and everything is still cool.

maybe $100 something for a rebuilt axle and you install it yourself

Or $125 for a brand new axle from www.raxles.com

Change it yourself, it's not that hard.

Well I got the boot repair kit from Courtesy for $60. After that I had the tranny place go ahead and put that on when they did my clutch install. The total there was $300 so I'm not sure how much of that was for the boots. LIke others have said tho, you may just want to replace the axle.
