I have been looking for different taillights for my 95 and I either want red/clears, or euros, but gunmetal euros with leds. I have found them for the 97-99 maximas, but I want to know if they will fit the 95, or what the difference is?

 

If you can find red/clears for 95/96 than good luck. They have the first and 2nd generation altezzas (euros) at www.custommaxima.com (I think the 2nd Generation looks better but its all in your opinion) The tails for 97-99 will not fit 95/96. If you want some nice looking tails look for "elegantes by TYC" they're absolutely beautiful.

 

The 2nd gen altezza's don't fit on 95-96s, they were only made for 97-99s. There arent many options for you guys unfortunatly. You could get the old style altezza's but IMO, they don't look very good.

Where could I find elegantes for a maxima. I seem to have found them for just about every other type of car except Nissans.

 

here are ur options:

1. go to Group Deal section and wait for who-knows-when for the 95-96 clears.
2. search patiently everyday under 4th-gen for sale forum or ebay for old Dave L's custom red/clear tails from other members
3. custom paint ur outter stock tails, ask nadir_s for more info
4. or u can try to get an altezza, which aren't really popular. if u can get it for a reasonable price i say go for it. hell, i got mine for $41 on ebay and it got rid of my fugly stock orange tails. good enough for now.

There's the link how to red out the orange. What I'm doing is buying altezzas and painting them to match my car which is the skyline look. Better than those orange.

RED/CLEARS!!! no more altezzas please...

 

i went from stock to altezzas to red/clear, and boy was i happy to see those red clears on there after seeing those altezzas for so long. they just dont go with the car. even if you have to wait for the red clears, its very much worth it.

 

i have the cf altezzas and have been pretty happy with them. at night it looks like a damn monte carlo but other than that.........
