exhaust ideas?

Well guys i came across a good trade for my stock alloy rims + $150 for a a set of 17" chrome spoke niche rims. I migt end up selling them, but i was think of adding on the duel exhaust kit from custom maxima. Any of u guys know if it is worth the price?

Hell no. I hope you havent ordered it because its the absolute worst rip off in exhuast EVER. 800bucks for an exhuast system?!?!!? Please, you can CUSTOM make that for 1/2 of the price...

Flowmaster muffler/s: ~100 - ~200
Pipping and labor: ~150 - ~250

Hell, my fake setup cost 150, and im completely redoing it now and it will still be less than half the price of the CM one...

So its your choice, bend over for custom maxima or not...

a friend of mine recommended i custom made one as well. Do u know how it compares performance wise to other after market exhausts. I heard in some instances u actually lose power by trying to make a single exhaust into a duel exhaust system.

can any shop custom make one for you? I have a hole in my mid pipe and the local shop wants 200 for parts + 60 labour + gasket etc....would it be better for me just to have someone custom make a midpipe rather than purchase a new dealer one?

catbacks make very little power, they are mostly just for noise. If you want to increase power buy yourself a y-pipe and intake:

well i'm already int the process of buying a Y-pipe from budget, but i was mainly looking into the dual exhaust for looks. I just thought it would look sweeet to see two chrome barrels neatly coming out the back of my max.

Yes, thats the reason i did my dual conversion, i love the look. Gives it a more sporty look rather then just a fat can sitting there...
