1) How do u pass inspection? You prbly cant
2) Can I just install one and unscrew it and throw my cat back on in time for inspection????

4) resonator would keep it quiet, the test pipe alone will not add much noise, if you have a y pipe or exhaust with it it will be a bit louder

 

is there any performance gains from it?

 

3-5 hp maybe, but the most noticeable gain is a nasty smell and skrewed Ozone.

 

I think as long as your car is running well you shouldn't notice much of a difference in smell.

 

What kind of smell are we talking about?

never smelled burned gasoline... Is it foul smelling? like unbearable?

 

not burned gasoline, UNburnt gasoline... it smells like gas lol

 

The smell can irritate your eyes. I don't like the smell.

tree hugger. I do what i gotta do for more HP. But if it smells, I dont want it.

 

it smells GOOD! but the gains in the upper RPM range greatly outways any kinds of smells it gives out... but really you're not gonna notice much in smell...

If i may ask, why not warpspeed? Im still contemplating over budget and warpseed for the Y Pipe. Agh choices , choices...

 

i really don't have any beef w/ warpspeed... i actually have their y-pipe, had their test pipe, and b-pipe... this was b/f budget was around, or around to my knowledge... all are good... but my friend's budget pipes are as good or maybe even better than warpspeed and so w/ that and the price difference in the 2, i'd go w/ budget all the way! it's an incredible product...
