Y-Pipe and exhaust system purchased and installed for 500 Bucks

Well I just got back from budget exhaust. I got a y-pipe resonated b-pipe and a magnaflow muffler. The total with installation of everything was just under 500 bucks. Just though you guys would like to know about a hell of a deal. Also how long should I wait to reset my ecu? Thanks

I'd reset it right away, but some people have been saying it won't matter much.

It won't matter at all. Is this canadian dollars or american. If american it seems like what everybody else would pay. Complete exhaust install is only $100...

Where is a complete exhaust install 100 dollars? I have never heard of a shop only doing it for 100 dollars, its at least 2 hours labor plus they have to make hangers and weld the muffler. If you can get that done for 100 dollars then thats a steal.

Well I can feel a little differnce now, but I have not reset my ecu yet. Also I love the sound with the magnaflow muffler, finally when I start up my car it sounds like its not stock. It got a nice growl to it at low rpms and at high rpms its not very loud i hear my intake more. But it was a great investment, instead of paying 500 for a cat-back and another 200-300 for a y-pipe get the budget ya nd resonated b-pipes, also you can pick the exact muffler you want with this setup. Magnaflow sells a ton of universal mufflers.

well y-pipe averages 150 for budget i guess and a b-pipe and muffler should be around 200-250. So u got a descent good price for a budget setup. Although you got an amazing deal compared to other brands. My combo cost me 485 before install and install was around 80 dollars due to two different occassions.

Muffler looks great. How does it sound? Can I ask which one you have? I am searching for a muffler as well.

Thanks

the muffler is MAGNAFLOW part # 14829. Its got a nice deep tone that is not too loud but you can still tell a difference. And the y-pipe is 250 canadian or about 180 american and the resonated b-pipe is 260 candanian about 185 american and the muffler is about 100 american.

Thanks for the 411. I got myself a Magnaflow muffler with a custom cat-back. I got part# 14216. I like the sound note. The pitch is deep at lower rpms but rises with the rpms. It is barely audibe except when you hit the higher rpms. I appreciate the insight. thanks again.
