When I start up the o'le ride in the morning, it sounds like somthing is ticking. Timing chain or tnesioner for the chain? I dont know and will take all the help I can get.

 

Sounds like bad lifters if it goes away once its warmed up (if they are really bad they won't go away at all). There is nothing you can do to it short of an engine rebuild. This happens if oil changes aren't close enough. I am refering to engines in general though. Maybe someone can pinpoint the noise as VQ specific.
