I'm a maxima owner, living in texas. i'm fed up the insane gas price that these f*&kin gas companies get away with. i have to pay anywhere from $1.50 to $1.80 to get a gallon of 91 octane from chevon for my max. I was just wondering what are some gas prices that you have to pay for?

I have a question for you guys.

Do you wait till your meter reaches half full then you fill up the gas tank?

or

do you guys just wait until its past the half mark and you have 1/4 left and you fill it up?

Is there any difference?

All you guys are lucky. Try paying 3.99 per gallon for 91 OCT, and also have to wait in line for more than an hour to buy gas.
Well thats the current status here in Arizona. Last Tuesday 35% of gas station had gas.

Wow - It's been over $1.75 here in Seattle for a good year.

Which is kind of funny - Alaska being so close and all.

Ian. Costco has 91 for under $2. Where do you get 92?

I get 92 at Chevron.

I'm wary about putting Safeway/Costco/Arco gas in my ride.

why do other states have 91 and 92 octane only? NJ and GA (my 2 homes) both have either 87, 89, or 93 octane. Which leads me to another question. Can I just fill up half a tank of 89 and half a tank of 93?

Damn gas stations raising up the prices because of a "shortage". WTF does a shortage in AZ have to do with Chicago??? Actually, the city stations raised the prices about 10 cents, but the suburbs raised is like 20-30 cents, and now they're almost the same in the city and suburbs. My car was in the shop when the gas was $1.83 for Shell 93 on Thursday I put in 5 gallons today for $1.99/gal

if you do the math, that would average out to 91 octane middle grade gas.

I live in a suburb in Indiana and I payed $1.97/gal for 91 Octane at Gas America. Being a teenager, it really sucks to have to spend $25-$30 for a full tank. Usually I don't let the meter go below 1/4 tank, but lately I've had no option.
