DirectHits ignition

Hi, Just bought a 98 max se and was wondering if the "Direct Hits" ignition system really works and is it ok to use on my max? Also what other mods can I do to get better gas mileage Without increasing the noise level?

The Direct Hits Ignition is designed for cars that have the "old school" distributor, rotor and cap style ignition system. The Maxima has NDIS system which is way better and gets rids of all that stuff that wears out. No rotors, caps, or wires to replace at all . . .well, unless a coil pack goes bad, but that's rare.
