Opening the spoiler brake light casing
I removed the brake light from my spoiler, because the guys at the local car audio shop said it take it out, and find a hole in it, and spray in the hard foam stuff that they use in houses.... the insulation stuff that you get in a can? There are no holes in mine to spray it in.... and I can't seem to be able to get the casing open on this thing.
Has anyone dealt with this before? Should I drill a few holes and then crazy glue little rubber seals back over them or something??

I decided to drill 5 holes, evenly spaced across the top of it (chose the top b/c you could see what you are doing better). I then used a can of spray foam insulation from the hardware store, and filled the back half of the led board, so it can't move. I am still waiting for it to finish drying/expanding. Some of it expanded over to the LED bulbs, but oh well, thats part of life I guess. The insulation will seal the holes, and then I am putting electrical tape of the holes too - and then finally some very thing sticky backed foam tape, so that when I screw it back in there is no way that the plastic casing can vibrate against the metal spoiler.
I'll let you all know how it sounds.
