Was wondering, can I add on Cruise Control to my 97 Maxima if I picked up the missing parts? The light for Cruise control is installed, and if you look under the hood, Cruise Control labels can be found, so it made me wonder if I got the buttons for it, if I could install it my self? Would this be possible or not worth the bother?
For some reason, cruise control was only available on the top 97 model here in NZ (the SLE, I've got the SL)

of course cruise control can be added. i don't know about the cost or what parts you need but it should be fairly simple. get a manual and check parts list and call salvage yard. i thought all cars have cruise nowadays......nz??? new zealand?

I thought all cars did as well, I guess this was one way Nissan made a difference between the 3 models. At least all models came stock with Pioneer head units

Pionner sucks... and Cruise rules... ...just kidding...shouldn't be too hard, if all the mechanics are setup and its just the electronics you have to worry about

Don't go with an aftermarket cruise, I've had them on previous cars and the don't hold speed for ****.
