antifreeze leak

i have a antifreeze leak that appears to be leaking around the a/c compressor but not sure if that is it...any one else's max leak antifreeze? the leak could be dripping higher than the a/c compressor and could just be running off the a/c compressor? help???!!!

I have the same leak. I've taken the A/C comp. down and moved the alt. to try and find it. Most people on here agreed it was the water pump leaking. I've got a water pump but I'm a little hesitant to try to do it myself. I've just been watching the temp really close and adding water every couple days. Hopefully I'll be able to get it done before too long.

Well, I'll be I've got the same problem. I bought a water pump off ebay for 20bucks(great deal) and installed it with new seals and everything hoping to solve the problem, but no luck. I have to refill my radiator every day and have for 6 months or so. The bad news i got from a friend of the family who used to be a nissan mechanic is that it is probably a small crack in the engine block. I say there is no such thing as a "small" crack in a block. hopefully that's not the problem, but i'm running out of theories and patience

Have the same problem. Mine is coming from the engine block somewhere and then drips down near the a/c compressor. Was really slow up until recently when it finally left a puddle on the ground when parked. The coolant flush I just did may have made things worse. I am thinking water pump leaking too.

Two weeks ago, just added a bottle of Radiator Leak fix. Supposedly some sort of organic material that is compatible with all types of coolant. Had some sort of pellets in it which made it hard to get in from the radiator cap but eventually got all of it in. Needed to purge some coolant from the bottom drain to accomodate the leak fix stuff though. Well sure enough, the next day the leak had stopped and seems that way since then. Don't know how long it'll last. The stuff purports to rejuvenate water pump seals(?) and other magically benefits.

Same leak here. At first it would leak when the engine was cold and stop when the engine warmed up, but the other day I boosted up a hill near where I was going to, and when I got out I noticed it leaking a fairly steady stream. But now it's not leaking at all as far as I can tell. WTH.

The Haynes manual says that there is a weep hole in the block near the AC compressor, and that coolant will leak when the pump seals start to fail. I bought a pump last week and I'm installing it this weekend. I'll do a writeup.

I am having the same problem... when i turn the car off after about 10 min i will have a puddle... but all my fluid levels are 110%... and have been staying that way? i thought it could be condensation from the air conditioner but thets a hell of alot of condinsation?

At first I thought it was motor oil since my level was a little low when I first found out about the puddle. However, after the puddle dried, no oil residue was left so I though that it was just condensation from the A/C. Well the next time I looked, it definitely had the color of coolant. The coolant reservoir was pretty stable dropping only minimally over a period of months.

The real tip off is that a puddle was left and I KNEW i didn't use the A/C on that trip!
