Bose blew a fuse (once) why???
Bose blew a fuse (once) why???
I have a 99 I 30 which I guess is like a 99 GLE Maxima
I have a factory Bose dash unit radio/tape with CD player and also have the under front seat Bose 6 CD changer.
yesterday while pulling into the garage the wife said one CD was scratched so I ejected the "6 pack" from the under seat changer as we pulled into the garage.
Tonite she said the player/radio / clock in the dash were all dark (would not come on) when she got in the car that morning. i checked and the under seat CD still had power and would take in and kick out the 6 pack of CDs.
the radio and the clock were dead. the 10 amp fuse was blown. I changed it and it has lit up Ok about 6 times.
what causes this fuse to blow ?- is it a marginal fuse ( that is loaded too close to 10 amps??
Anyone had this problem too?
the cd changer under the seat seems on a different circuit so ejecting it while the radio was on should not cause that .
