My car hit 100k.....

My car just hit 100k. I'm so proud of my car, damn I push that shiet hard...And it feels the same like when I drove it out of the dealer with 41k on the odo 2 yrs ago. The only major problems were taken care of by the dealer. The only major things I had to replace were: Clutch, Trans 1, Trans 2, tires. This car has been so reliable. I guess it's time to spoil the car with some more mods, like a y pipe, upd, paint job, and a kit. I love my car.

Good to hear, I just bought a used 96se with 130k on the clock and the ride is smooth. I admittedly have to see the mechanic for a rattle I'm hearing near the left rear wheel and maybe a new starter but those are very minor problems anyway.

A question for you.. does Trans 1 & 2 mean you had to replace the first 2 gears of your tranny? If so why?

No, I've had to replace my tranny twice already. Hope this third one lasts.

Yow! I was under the impression 5-speeds are generally more reliable than autos. My 90 automagic lasted 181k!

could you tell anything different about your max when you installed Cross Drilled Rotors & Axxis brake pads. or did it just look better ?

They look better, but the stopping power is the same as stock. Also Axxis pads dust like crazy.

good to hear, this should reassure my little bro about the heart and durability of the max...he is currently looking at a '97 Black GLE w/ 96k for $3500(its from a friend)

2 transmissions and you think your car is holding up well?

hows that work?

at least your happy....guess thats all that matters.

$3500 is rediculous...if its in half decent condition it sounds good to me.
