I got this with my strut bar. What is it?

I got this with my strut bar. What is it?

I ordered a front upper strut tower bar off of ebay and this bar came with it. The right side extends and has threads on the inside. I'm sure someone will know exactly what it is but I have no idea.

no idea, not part of the strut bar though. its probably some sort of hood prop the guy left in the box.

Yeah I got the strut bar on fine. It's great BTW. But I have no idea what this is for.

Shower curtain rod. But it could be the Johnson rod you probably need to replace (if you're over 75,000 miles). Good deal.
