if you are just looking for the horn to beep (like other cars do) when you click lock on the remote...it's in the owners manual. I think all you have to do is push a few buttons simultaneously to set either silent or horn mode. Or just ask the dealer.

I believe the instructions are on the back of your keyfob, just turn it over and look closely on the back. I think you need to hold the lock and unlock buttons down at the same time for 2-5 seconds to turn the "chirp" on or off. If that doesn't work let me know and i'll check it out when I go back to work. Work?....Nissan dealrship.

edit: Must be standing next to your car to do this!

hahaha, i love those "Roll your windows up with the remote". So much fun. No you cannot do it with the 4th gens stock, only 2000+. It does work well i had a friend do it.; I woner if you can get a beep instead on a honk!
