Custom Maximas Turbo kit is INCREDIBLE
If this is a repost I'm sorry. But wow. If you haven't checked it out go look at it. It's the turbo for the 4th gen. It has 2 stages. Stage one kit dynoed at 305 HP to the wheels at 6psi boost. He says that they plan to dyno the stage 2 kit and thinks it will gain about another 80 HP. 385 HP to the wheels at 6psi is freaking incredible. It costs alot but you get everything you need or want basically. I wish I had money for it.

I would definately have to see the dyno to believe hes pushing 305HP AT THE WHEELS, with just 6psi...

Check out the Turbo/Super charged forum....apparently this setup has already blown to motors.................
And at 6psi.....everyone else's setup is reliable, plus most likely that 305hp is CRANK not WHEEL hp. Check out the boosted forum and you will be amazed at what info you shall find.

An 80% gain in power with "only 6psi" of boost is defying the laws of physics.
Do you guys believe everything you read?

Check the thread about it in the turbo/supercharger forum. It may open your eyes. 305 whp at 6 psi on that turbo isn't possible. And it is even more impossible to see 385 whp at 6psi. Stage II is just bigger injectors and some other stuff, but no way it could do 385 whp. Look up the compressor maps for a T04E turbo. It doesn't flow enough air at 6 psi for that kind of power.

if it actually made such amazing power at a low PSI...wouldnt everyone have/want one? There have been reported problems with it, also why in gods name would u want 385 in a stock maxima engine? nuts!

That kind of power from 6psi would make this turbo one of the most efficient on this planet!! Also, that kind of power with stock internals is just begging for a blown motor. I think I'll stick to the supercharger until we hear more about this incredible turbo.

I'm just telling you what I read at custom maxima. He has a print of a dyno and so I figured I'd believe him. I just figured it had some credibility because most on here are using a hybrid T3/T4 turbo while he is using Turbonetics FULL T4 turbo. but that may not matter because I don't know much about turbos.

well if it was that simple to just strap on a t4, and make that much power from 6psi, a lot of us would have turbos, i dont really trust that dyno, the engine wouldnt hold up in the long term, and the stage 2 is a joke

Yeah, but the T04E compressor side is the same as the one used on the hybrid turbos. hence similar power numbers. High end would be better with the T4 turbine side. But still not better enough for those kinds of numbers.
