Exhaust Idea... Am I crazy, or would this work?

I recently ordered a magnaflow muffler 14829, and it should be coming in by friday or so (hopefully). I did some searching and found out that it may be a bit loud for my taste, and I came up with an idea that might quiet it down a bit... The exhaust shop that I will be taking my car to explained to me that the straight through design of the magnaflow is not much more than a glasspack and therefore will be quite loud, even if I put a resonator. I havent talked to the mechanic yet but my idea was to put a turbo muffler (2 chamber) where the resonator should be and then having the magnaflow at the end mostly for looks. This shouldn't be any more restrictive than a glasspack and a 2 chamber muffler, although it does seem weird to have 2 mufflers I think it would quiet everything down significantly. My question to you guys, is this idea even possible? (will it fit, etc.) Any thoughts regarding any of this would be greatly appreciated.

Well theres just no space to mount that other muffler, or else it would be a good idea. I mean you can try, as im running a turbo muffler, but i am almost positive theres not that kinda space under there. Just return your Mag, hes right, its pretty much a glasspack, since its so straight through, doesnt have much silencing material. It'll tend to sound raspy at high end, my boy has one...kinda annoying 4500K+Rpms....

Little update for anyone who was interested... I took a ride over to the shop today and explained my idea to the guy, he apparently has done this before and agreed it would be a really good way to keep my exhaust somewhat quiet. He said he's got some canister type turbo mufflers in stock that would fit since they arent much bigger than a resonator. I really think I'm going to be happy with this setup, and I'll definatly update again when everything gets put on.
