OR....

Maybe you could just trade me, I would have to inspect the condition of your chrome piece, But I am looking to swap out my Black SE Piece.

Let me know.

Not to difficult, the pieces are accessable via the inside of the door. From what I was told by the shop.

I am located in Washington State, However I am sure shipping rates would not be all to expensive.

It is called Trimbrite tape. I purchased it at Auto Zone. It is made to black out chrome trim on automobiles. It was inexpensive and took me about an hour to do the trim surrounding both doors.

i swaped mine out from a se.. wasent too bad I broke some of the clips but not a big problem... There is one screw holding the upper trim and one for the bottom ( that you get from the inside of the door. Then the rest are slips and whatnot.

go to your local pepboys, autozone etc.. store and buy "trimbrite" blackout tape. It's made for this.

I did it on my dad's GXE and it came out great. It was done over a year ago and never once had a problem with pealing or fading through a harsh winter and just about any weather..

you can't even tell that it was ever chrome before or that there is tape on it.

cost is about 4$ a roll of the tape. You'll need about 1 and a half rolls for both sides of the max so buy 2 rolls.
