Will a tranny from a 98 Se Max bolt up directly to a 95 Se?

 

but if you find the answer tell me.. b/c my '95se w/ 105k has trouble in reverse (forward is BEAUTIFUL) so I have to always use pull through spots and driveways and my garage just suck

 

I'm not sure. The Haynes repair manual shows different computer diagnostic procedures for 95-96 transmissions vs. 97, and 98+ models. Check with your dealer for the answer to your question, but I'm willing to guess the answer is no.
