97 max Corner lens replacement to make it brighter
Need Help... I am trying to follow step 1, however having a HARD time where it says, "find the little joint socket that......pop it out of that socket." HOW do I pop it out? I used the flathead, but it doesn't fit right in because the windshield wiper fluid is there as well. Do I have to put the screw driver in there ? Where and How do I push it out? I am sorry man... never done mods before.. new to this forum.

1)Remove your clearance light housing. It's pretty simple, just pop the hood and remove the screw that holds it in. With a little bit of tugging, you can pull the side closest to the doors (not the front side) out (it goes behind a little plastic flap). look down into the hood and find the little ball joint socket that holds the clearance light in. take a screwdriver (flathead) and pop it out of that socket. there the light is out.

it wasnt that hard for me to pop it out...but it was really hard for me to put the damn thing back in
instead, the next time, i just did the "high wattage mod" without removing the housing, but rather reaching in and unscrewing the bulb and putting it back that same way.
