replaceing factory intake

replaceing factory intake

i am going to change my starter tomrrow and I was thinking about changing out the factory intake but had a question the factory one has wires going into it and I belive sensers also now when I change it will I be getting rid of the sensers and wires I guess I just need a little howto on this. thanks.

What are you going to replace the factory intake with?

Regardless of what you get as an intake, your MAF sensor and your intake temp sensor will be fitted in to a new one, granted youre not constructing one yourself. all hoses and such will reconnect as well. If you have a 97-99, the boost sensor, which is mounted on the intake scoop, will not be remounted on an aftermarket intake, you can just tie it off somewhere out of the way...good luck
