powerslot rotors and...please help?

OK, I'm going to get powerslot rotors.
I'm thinking of going with the Hawk Pads.

1] any recommendations for a place to get the powerslots cheap?

2] any recommendations for pads - hawk or others, and why/why not?

3] any recommendations for fluid
Motul, ATE Super Blue, AP racing, Valvoline, other?
Synthetic or not?
DOT 3 or Dot 4?

4] if I try to replace the rotors and pads my self, first time,
about how long do you think it would take?

Any specialty tools required?

5] Thanks!

I bought the exact same setup a few weeks ago, Powerslot rotors and Hawk HPS pads up front. I bought them from Shox.com. I paid $84 dollars for each rotor and $57 dollars for the pads. I am very happy with them, just make sure you follow the brake in procedure when you first drive with them, and take it easy for the first 500 miles. My install took a little longer than usual. This was due to the fact that when I was looking for some grease for the pins I put the anti-squeal stuff down and forgot it. I then had to walk to the auto shop to get some(car was up on stands), good thing there is an Autozone close to me, only about 5 blocks. I would think that next time it would not take long at all because I am now familiar with the parts involved, and to just change the pads will be a lot faster that doing the rotor too(do not have to take off the caliper, unless your turning the rotor). Just arm yourself with a Haynes manual and you will surprised at how easy it is to change the brakes, I can't believe I paid the dealer to do this before.

I'm also curious about which pads to get. I am planning on Powerslot rotors, though. The best price I have found was in this email I got when I questioned an ebay auction--

Hawk does not make rear pads for you Maxima. Only fronts.
Front rotors $76.00 each
Rear rotors $89.00 each
Front pads $58.00
FREE SHIPPING

Thanks,
