Handling mods should be SFC's, front/rear strut braces, rear sway bar. As far as struts and springs that depends on how U want the car to ride.

forget the system. pointless to waste money and weight. i have already gone through my system phase, and i look back and laugh.
just go for performance (in my opinion)

Might as well add a CAI to that and finish it off.

why do people even post questions like this?!? why do you want people to tell you what to get....get what you want. read the threads about the mods and make up your own mind..why arent threads like this locked and deleted. ugh..such a waste of time

I agree but I'll help him out anyway

ypipe- 200
intake- 200
mevi- 800??
ecu- 700??
clutch- 350

that puts you in the low 14s and pretty much a 'highway monster'.lol

and leaves you with roughly $250. maybe a rsb and fstb??

But do what you like

systems are not pointless, if you like music and bass then thats what you get, prob 95% of this board has systems or wants them, note veryone wants to race etc.. theres more to life than performane and racing

when i owned the max, the only thing that it needed was a y pipe. spend the rest of the money on some 19s like the mille miglia evo5 that were on the car. you should still have some money to spend on lowering the car. -Vinny D

So far I've spent $2,100 on my max. I have the most important suff:

Performance-intake, ypipe

Suspensions-fstb, rsb, 17"rims/tires, shocks/springs(not on my car yet)

Looks-front clears, red/clear tails

$2500 is alot of money to spent at once. so i would go with something you can't buy when your on tight budget. stuff like rims or bodykit. cause things like fstb, intake, y-pipe doesn't cost that much so you could get that later(even when your low on budget) but things like rims(especially rims) it will make your cars apprearance alot different.

hmmmm........how much BEER can you buy with $2500 ????

forget it man.........buy a few nice things and save the rest for something really important down the road (house, new car, kids)

Good luck,
