360 on the freeway
what up guys, i got into a bad *** accident on the freeway.
expedition's tire explodes on the freeway, swerves to the right, mustang to prevent it from hitting the expedition swerves to my lane, i swerve to the right and fish tails round and round then hitting a gmc pick up truck on the side, turning back, my front hits his rear bumper and he tumbles from all the way from the right lane to the left center divider, flips couple of times, my car is all banged up. not sure who's fault it is but i hope not mine. please make me feel good by saying its the expeditions fault! anyone know's who might be at fault?

if cops came and took a report and all, expedition's fault obviously.
I am glad you came out of it w/o injuries. What about the guy who flipped? I hope he wasn't injured badly.
Good to know you're safe, be careful!

the last thing u wanna do now is beat yourself up over whos fault it is. be glad your not dead. that accident sounded crazy. good thing the maxes are built good. i think it should deff be the expeditions fault because he caused the chain reaction and you just reacted...be safe buddy..
see, the mustang did not hit me but so close, i swerved and hit the other car, hope everything goes good. but many people did say that it was the expeditions fault for the chain reaction he caused.

The cops shouldnt really blame anyone about it assuming the expedition initially swerved due to a blown tire.
both me and mustang and witness saw that the expedition swerved. the expedition did not have to swerve into the mustang's lane, she did because she did not know he was there, then after she saw the mustang, she went back to her lane. why did she swerve? she had complete control over her car, she could've slowed down at least to prevent anything. when the rear tire blows, the car still has control to stay in its lane, now if the front tires blew, then she would have no control of the car whatsoever.

All depends on how the cop wrote the accident report. There are several different ways to look at the situation from a cop's point of view. Here's a couple of possibilities:
Did the Expedition hit something (road hazard)? If so, this can be the first accident report (impact occurred). Then, because the Expedition swerves, then Mustang to avoid Expedition, then you to avoid Mustang, but you hit GMC. This would be second collision, possibly written up as a separate accident. The first accident would be considered a "contributing factor" for your report. Reason for movement (your car) would not be because of driver violation, but because of previous accident (primary) and to avoid other vehicle (secondary).
Or, what I would have done in Louisiana, is combine it all in to one report, with the Expedition being the at fault vehicle due to defective equipment or road hazard. Then document the course of events.
Different states will have different procedures for writing these types of accident(s) up. In Louisiana, from the info you gave, it could have been written up like either of the above. But odds are, the cop writing the report won't make unnecessary paperwork for himself if he can avoid it. Insurance companies can hash stuff out later.
Were any citations issued? That would help pin point the at fault vehicle. From what you posted, I wouldn't have written any, but the Expedition would have been listed as vehicle #1 (the at fault (cause) of the accident). Sounds like a legitimate accident, and not necessarily due to driver error.
Call whatever department covered the accident, and request a copy. It may cost you a few dollars for copying/processing fees. Also, depending on size of department, it may not be immediately available, but could take a week or so. But you'll be able to see exactly what was written. Then you can frame it!
Glad no one was hurt. Vehicles can be replaced. Major accidents tend to have life-long impacts (no pun intended) on the people involved. Don't be surprised if you catch yourself driving more cautiously/defensively. But, that is a good thing!
Stay safe.

could be firestones fault...or if they were new, could have been installed/inflated wrong. or they could have been worn out and nasty, and she hadnt changed them...so her fault.
SXN, Peter is my friend, and that's my old car.
Here are some more pictures,

thanks for elaborating...and that car was beautiful. was that extensive list of mods included? wow...this makes the crash harder to bear. how extensive is the damage? i dont think i saw that
Most parts were still on the car when Peter got it. I don't know what he's added/removed since then. I know I sold my SSR's and he got another set of rims (appear to be SSR's or look-alikes).
I know it needs a new y-pipe, that was first generation jett hot Cattman.

Peter, this is Albert from PV.
Sorry to hear about your accident man. I was about to call you and ask if you wanted to go to the all nissan meet coming up. This sucks dude.
But like Brian said, I'm sure your car will come out better than before. From the sound of it I don't think it was your fault, and the insurance companies should be able to sort it out. I would also consider looking into consulting a private personal injury lawyer who could probably give you more advice on the matter.
