I know it sounds funny but I lost my spare tire. I was wondering what other cars shared the same bolt pattern as the 97 maxima so I can go to the junk yard and find one. It sux going down the road knowing that your toasted if you blow a tire. Thanks.

 

Owners manual ('97) says the spare is a T125/70D 16 for most, and with Viscous LSD it's a T125/90D 16. It may be on the tire placard in the center console, too.

Maybe I shouldn't ask, but how did you "lose" your spare?

I went to the drag strip one night and I put my spare tire in the back of my buddy's truck. On the way home I'm ridin behind him and his entire bedliner flys out along with my spare tire. The bedliner barely misses me. And the spare tire went into the woods. We couldn't find it. david a.
