Hello group,

I need to replace my engine mounts. The new ACT clutch I just had put in shook them lose. I checked a few shops around Dallas and was quoted $650 to $700. They recommend that I replace 3 engine mounts and a transmission mount. Does this sound right? How about the price?

I must be blind. I cant find anything that would even come close to engine mounts.

I don't see how all 4 could be bad. More than likely, just the front and especially the rear.

 

Thats what I thought from reading everything on this boad but i figured he would have to take a look. This was just an estimate.

Just to give you a rough idea, front and rear mounts are about $90 each. You can get them cheaper at dealers that discount (ie. JRNissan). Install for f/r is about 2 hours or less.
