Custom exhaust and red/clears on! soo sexy..

OK, I dont have pictures tonight because it is just too dark outside unfortunatly, but I'll post some up tomorrow. The tails are the newer style custommaxima.com red/clears, they looks amazing with my shaved trunk lid. The exhaust is a custom 2.5" catback with a turbo muffler in place of where the stock resonator is normally, and a magnaflow #14829. It fills the bumper cutout very well, but I think a 4.5" tip would have been a tiny bit better. I had them mount it about half an inch out from the cutout, almost flush really, and very high up, again about a half an inch or maybe even less from the top of the cutout. The sound is beautiful, when I start the car it gives off a very very deep boom and then quiets down to nearly stock levels while idle. I would say the whole system is relativly quiet except when starting from a stop or slowly accelerating, for example, up a hill. At 3krpms the sound quickly tapers off and is replaced by my intake all the way up to about 5600rpms and the muffler becomes audible again. At 60 mph in 4th with my foot on the gas, there is some slight drone, but cruising at 70 makes everything nice and quiet, which is my normal driving speed anyways. I am a bit worried about the cops around my area simply because they have nothing better to do than hassle people for modified exhausts, so if I have any problems, I'm going to try and fit a resonator on there somewhere. It is by no means a fart can, and sounds quite similar to my friends Mustang GT with flowmasters in terms of tone, but not nearly as loud. When I went to pick the car up, the owner of the exhaust shop said "It sounds really really good" and a friend of mine commented "holy **** dude, that sounds amazing" I wish I had a good way of getting a sound clip, but without a video camera it might be tough. Yes, PICS are coming tomorrow morning.

Sorry about the car being a bit dirty.. I think you'll get the general idea though.
