My question is about getting a rim job I mean getting a new set of rims and tires. Will a 17 1/2" by 7 1/2"wide rim fit on a 97? whats the maximum size and width you can put on a 97 without any suspension mods?

I think

17x7,8,8.5,18x8.5,19,even some monstrous 20's,I thinhk the widest would be like 8.5,you don't drive a chevy fullsize truck where 20 x 9.5 or 10's would fit....

Hey William, have you gotten your wheels yet? I just ordered the same wheels, but in a 19" size. What offset were your wheels? I was told that they only come in a 42 offset for my size.

it's cool to see someone else with the same rim ideas....and yes I got them Friday 2-9-01 and they are vey nice I got them for $100.00 each,I got the silver the Hyper black and the white look good but the silver really sets my car off and they are incredibly light only about 13-15 lbs per wheel of course being only 15" in size.. http://www.whalentire.com/ and $48.18 s&h from here shipped to my house..down here in Metter,Ga and I tracked my package daily on UPS.com I ordered last Friday 2-2-01 I bought the regular stock size 15 x 6.5" but the centercaps they sent where the wrong ones.....the ones they sent are a "new" style but will not fit properly on Maximas so the dude called Golden Apple

http://www.adrwheels.com/sfm.cgi?sn=0AP053|t=index

the maker and they are sending me the "old" center cpas and they "should" work,I also have a big white ADR decal on the back glass of my car,I also have blue tuner lug nuts a set of 20 w/socket ket that come in Blue,Black,Red, or chrome from here. Maxima size is 12mm x 1.25",and blue valve stem caps and sleeves from the local Wal-Mart for only $3.50
http://www.jegs.com/cenwin805.htm
for only $20.99
