Steering (center = alot to the left)

I was driving down a hill and come to an intersection so I brake to stop, well I didnt stop instead the car only slightly slowed down. I was going to fast and the momentum and spontaneous non timed stop casued me to lose control and bang a right onto a curb coming to inches close to the poll. End result was two passenger side flat tires. I repalced the tires today and now it seems like in order for the car to go straight, the steering wheel has to be at 10:00 instead of 12:00. Will an alignment solve this. Mind you I have two brand new tires (same brand and specs) on the passneger sides and 6 month old tires on the drivers side. What do you think???

Take it to an alignment shop. Hopefully you don't have any bent suspension components. But your first step should be to take it to an alignment shop.

I would do an alignment and put the two new tires in front.

heh, I did very close to the same thing you described and hit a curb pretty hard on the passenger side.
I didn't screw up my suspension at all, so this should just be an alignment problem.

For the steering wheel to move that much you have definately either bent something or shifted the rack and pinion over in it's mounts. A good shop front end shop will be able to tell whats wrong once they shoot the car.
