someone please make my hood stop rattling!

well, it's done this for as long as i can remember. it's not always so bad but since i recently moved, the road i drive down is very bumpy and i constantly hear it. i think i made a thread about this a year ago but don't recall getting any decent tips. i know the original owner got into an accident so maybe that's what is making it do it...but is there any ways to fix it? i know hoodpins would hold it down but i don't really want to do that. it's not even a crazy and hugely noticable thing but if i'm driving with no music on at lower speeds you can definately hear the rattling. all my contact points look fine, even the hinge, or whatever it's called where the hood connects to the car, looks fine. anyone have tips that will hopefully make me thanx in advance for atleast reading all my jibber jabber!

On the ends of the radiator support beam, over the headlights, there are two rubber stoppers that support the corners of the hood. These are threaded so they can be moved up and down to align the hood.

Try adjusting them. If they are smashed and ruined (like mine were) I think they are only about $4 each to replace.

Thanks for the information. My left one is almost dead. I adjusted them a while back, and got rid of the annoying rattling. Now it is back, due to my dying left one.

I just fixed mine yesterday. I paid $8 dollars for them at the dealer. My left one was gone . Now it is nice and quiet again .
