Well my buddy in my english class as an A'Pexi N1 muffler he can sell to me for cheap. Would this muffler fit in my car? If so I would go over to a muffler shop ex. Meinike and ask them to weld it on along with a 2.5" custome bpipe?
Would that work at all?
what doyou guys think?

I actually just looked on the apexi website and I don't think the maxima was listed for the n1 muffler....would that mean there is no way I can get it welded on even if I went to a muffler shop? I'm dissapointed..

yea you can get it welded on, if you go for the Turbo N1 muffler, the weld job will probably be a good $200+.

It will be loud, very loud. My cousin had a custom 2.5" bpipe with a turbo N1 muffler setup. IMO, it was too loud. A bit ricey too. Maybe just get the muffler welded on and don't get the custom bpipe. Maybe then it wouldn't be too loud.

Btw, the custom 2.5" bpipe with the turbo N1 muffler welded on costed my cousin about $150.

Damn, I know someone that had a Universal HKS Turbo muffler (similar to the Turbo N1) welded onto a 2.5 bpipe, and most shops qouted 250+, then found a shop to do it at around 220 or so. Its very loud, but VERY deep, when compared to the average fart can muffer from a civic, the civic can be heard over the maxima with he Turbo HKS muffler (tip is nearly 5"), because the maxima has a DEEP DEEP tone.

whats up scott,
good luck with a setup bro!
take your time. these prices are really high
i had a shop fabricate a pipe from my cat to my oem resonator(to keep it quiet), from the resonator to the muffler, weld hangers for the muffler and new gaskets: $176.85 They did a great job, it still sounds good, and is not crush-bent.
Not too loud at all, no rasp, fart, etc.
hopefully it's not to loud when i put on my WSP y-pipe this weekend.
hit me up sometime scott.
the offer is still on to come to the next NICO meet.

1.) I'm almost possible it was the n/a version.
2.) he just sold it to someone else, I guess he had previous plans oh well. I'm just really frustrated. I'm trying to finish my exhaust but I don't want to spend 400$ on a cat back. grrrrrr!!!!!
