ACT Clutch
ACT Clutch
wuts up guys!! i has an act clutch in my car for about 2months. then i had a leak in my tranny and while my machanic was fixing it he told me it would be best to also change the clutch. i keep the clutch in my closet for about a year and a half. i want to know if it can be cleaned and will it work right again. is it worth it to buy a new one or do i just need parts? thanx

Was your clutch slipping? Had you had any problems with it? If not, then why did you change the clutch? That just makes no sense. Im sure if the clutch isnt bad you can use it...
Eric
If the friction disc was soaked in oil, then it may slip once you put it back together. If it wasn't that much, then it may be ok.
Try to contact ACT and find out if they'll just sell you a friction disc.
