I was wondering if I could put those Led 1156's in our tails instead of regular bulbs. I was just going to use a red 1156 to mach the inner red but saw these new led stlye. My concern is that they wont fit into the openings? anyone try this or has done this? thanks.

 

Yap. I got red LED turn signal bulbs from Pep Boys. The regular bulbs just dont look right. They will most likely make your signals blink faster though but not AS fast as those 7X blinkers........

 

oh yea- i dont know if they are 1156's or whatever. just make sure they have the right amount of nubs on the base of the bulb

just b careful driving during the day. i have not had police trouble, but ive ****ed off a few other drivers. and boy did they let me have it. at night tho.. it looks awsome.

 

how did u **** them off? It does blink red which is legal..what is their problem?

 

I have led turn signals in mine, and during the day they're pretty hard to see light up. Like he said though, it looks badass at night. If you're really being crazy about how the lights look, you might want to get white leds for the backup lights too..because the led bulb housing reflects diff. off the interior of the gen2 light than does a regular bulb. it makes it look darker. if you don't understand what i mean.. you'll see

 

This LED mod sounds dangerous for day driving.
