Where to buy a power window motor?

Anybody have good tips on where to get an inexpensive power window motor??

I believe mine is fried. The window won't move a bit, when I hit the button I only get a solitary click, then nothing. The regulator assembly seems to be intact and power is getting to the motor. I figured there is not much else it can be.

Thanks all!

not sure what the dealer charges for it but advance auto carries remans by A1 for 125 with about a $35 core charge. if there's is 125 then i would be afraid to see what the dealer charges. im sure you could also find one through car-parts.com if there are any decent salvage yards in your area. if you go that route, try and get the newest 4th gen you can assuming they use the same part number.

That's awesome help. Thanks for the quick response...I wouldn't have guessed a regular parts store would carry it. I'll be sure to try there first.

thanks, i ordered one from advance auto today for $118 + tax. supposed to be in tomorrow. i did try car-parts.com but the lowest price they had was $75...not low enough for me to buy a used part.

good to hear. at least with the new reman you have a warranty on it. just make sure you take back the old one to get the core charge back.
