99 MAXIMA GLE bumpy auto transmission

Hello Everyone. I am very new to this forum. Recently bought 99 Maxima GLE with 97000 km on it. Since first day got a hard 1-2 shift, 2-1 and 1-0 shift and little bumps when I let off the gas at arround 90 km/h. The rest is fine. Is this really a problem, I scheduled appointment with dealership because it is still on warranty. I've seen couple post on that, what is the final word, problem or normal?

Thanks

It might be normal depending on how hard the shifts are but first;Try runnig codes and if you have a code that is 12 05( Line Pressure Solenoid Valve (Automatic Transmission)) then do this. Check your transmission resistor. Its located on the side of the driver side strut tower its a grey harness with two wires and it ataches to a thing that's bolted down with two bolts.

Hi There
Thanks for reply. There is no codes stored. Dealers looked and found nothing. My main concerne is the situation when I release the gas at 60-80 km/h it shakes the whole car like it goes down to first gear and the same when I aply gas again right after. I will bug the dealer untill they can fix it. By the way, they mentioned something about maintanase records, and if i dont have them they might charge me for tranny repair. I found in the manual that tranny does not need service or oil change up to 96000 km. Any thoghts?
Thanks

you might wanna check your engine mounts, they might be worn and causing excessive engine movements when the tranny shifts. Other than that I wouldn't know anything else to tell you.

Sorry about 1-0, my mistake. It looks like hard shifting is common problem around maximas auto tranny. I am still concerned aboutthing when I play with gas pedal (press-release quickly) it shakes the whole car sometimes.
