Rusting/Disintegrating problems with Progress springs???

Has anyone had any rusting/disintegrating problems with progress springs? Rumor has it that a few people have, especially with applications in other vehicles, like the RSX guys have. How are the people that live in climates with snow doing? I want to make absolutely 100% sure that I am getting the best spring before I purchase. All of a sudden the Eibach seems so much better

I'm happy with mine, but I haven't had them long enough to comment on their longevity.

usually springs outlive the car. springs are made of solid steel wire (i think), and are usually painted. i really dont know where u have to drive for the springs to rust through. a little surface rust is no problem whatsoever.
btw, i also have Progress springs. for about 4 months now.
