Help me to check KS diagnose.

I heard about to use a Ohm gauge to diagnose Knock Sensor by measuring the Ohm between Pin 2 of KS and ground. But now I can not found the post.
I read it was 549KOhm. Is it good or bad?
Thax!!

even if it's 550k ohms doesn't mean it's OK. I got 550k a couple days ago, checked it and got a KS code on the ECU anyway. If your car lags in the low rpm, below 2500k or so, it most likely needs to be changed...

Before you order a new one try to take off the old one and clean it around the metal to have a better contact area. A little thing like that can make a difference...
