Ohk..Type II wing. IF its so demanding why not restart production?

Are the "foamy things" for both inner and outer posts? I was thinking about it last night, and since the outer posts don't both screw in, there might be a bit of vibration between the trunk lid and the outer posts if the gap wasn't insulated. I'm not really worried about it because I took my system out, but for those guys with a lot of bass in the trunk, it could be a small issue.

You can buy those rubber/plastic plugs at Advance auto parts to cover up the holes so no water will get in. Put a dab of clear RTV slicone on the outer edge of the hole and push the plug on. It will provide water tight seal. Can I get a discount now for giving out free advice? hehehehee

all OEM wings have 9 holes total on the trunk lid. Two on each outter perch where the plastic mounting clips are, two on the inner perches where the bolts goes through and one extra small one for the LED brake light.

when i installed my Type2 i popped out the plastic clips from the trunk lid and used silicone and a small rubber plug to fill those holes and for the inners i had to drill the holes out a lil bigger(on the trunk lid) to get the holes to line up off the wing. Then i used SS bolts to bolt the wing down on the inner perches along with siliconing them to make it a water tight seal. On the outters i used two 4" screws to hold the wing snug to the lid and again i used a lil more silicone to seal her up nice.

the wing is illlll,, i myself was worked on a prototype wing and it did not come out good at all,, i was very dissapointed,,4 real,,,,tanks 4 bringing the stuff to the org,,,,,count me in definetely,,,,,,

Yep, I agree like I said ealier I don't think MaxMoJo has to worry about people backing out of this project. Still can't beileve that MaxMoJo actually made a type x, and it looks damn sexy

where are these spoilers going to be stocked? will local pickups to avoid shipping costs be available anywhere?

I normally avoid local pickups because of my crazy schedule. If there are enough local people interested, maybe we can arrange a Type X Spoiler "meet" to pick them up all at once.

I'd hate to have to spend a ridiculous amount on shipping to have the thing shipped a lousy 10-20 miles, if you're based in NYC.

one thing that im not too clear on, is the clear LED. are you talking about the lense being clear? because i dont think that would look very good at all.

i actually like metallic97gxe 's spoiler. its actually off of a Galant GTZ. i like the look of going from one side all the way to the other side, not touching in the middle of the trunk at all.

i noticed that your 'type x' spoiler has 4 pedestals .. but on araffio's car ... he only has the two inner pedestals. if i were to remove the outers ones on your 'type x' spoiler, would the outer-part of the wing flap around?

how much are you selling these wings for?

By Christmas? Sheesh, I have been waiting for this thing since 2000, I'd be delighted if it is ready by X-Mas 2004!
