Certifit Parts!!!!

Holy crips......called certifit auto body. Their prices are rediculously cheap!!! get this...

$80 - OEM like hood
$20 - Rear bumper cover
$33 - Drivers fender
$20 - Rad. Support

It's too bad I already bought a rad. support from ebay, could have bought this one and picked it up for 1/5 the price!!!! UNBELIEVABLE!

Oh, BTW...they don't ship so prepare to get a truck and drive a little, they have locations all across the US. Go to www.certifit.com, the online catalog dont work so you have to call for prices

From a recent search, the actually do produce quality parts it seems. I think a moderator here ("mzmtg" sp?) has one, and IIRC he says its also decent. I'm going there this weekend for a little shopping

Also forgot to add, the parts are BRAND NEW!!! Theyre not OEM but they said they guarentee fitment and quality.

They also sell headlights, body parts and etc. If any of you are looking for a 97+ conversion, I suggest trying here first.

I wonder if anyone has used their catalog before. My guess is it hasn't worked yet. Their website is designed but I'll bet they haven't developed the catalog yet. I may be wrong, of course, if someone has used it but you'll probably have to call for a while.

Great, there is one about an hour and a half away from me, close enough for me considering all the money I'm saving

Thanks for the info...the thread I posted a couple of days ago had someone who simply said certifit, but I didn't know what the hell they ere talking about, as it was the first time I've ever heard of this company.

I deal WITH CertiFIt All the time for all my parts.
THe hoods are 120.
grills are 27 or 32 chrome.
Front Bumper Covers 37.00
Rear Bumper Covers 47.00.
ALL prices are for 97+ Maxima.

IM in STL.Mo, THere out-of stock on the rear bumpers for the past 7 months. Ive contacted there Springfield, Kentucky, Tennesse store a few times but ive always got these same prices everywhere (maybe $2 difference?).

BTW. NOT ALL PARTS FROM THEM ARE OK.
for instance, id really recommend u line up the parts before installing or sanding at all.

I gota 92-95 civic front bumper shipped but it was for a 93 accord and i had to send it back.
Got another 92-95 front & rear (30 a piece) the Front did not fit well.
It had a high spot like my bumper on my maxima Kinda' does. Look at my home page and look at the bumer/lights. 1 side is a little bit higher and yes ive removed it 3 times trying for a good fit, But for 37 im not really complaining.
thats my experience.

Does anyone know how they are prepared? Do they come primered or just bare metal?

I got into a wreck bout a year ago (luckily they have a store in okc) had to replace my front bumper cover and the corner lamps. I think the bumper was around $45 and the corner lamps were about $25 a piece. As far as it fitting perfect I think it would have if the bottom of my fender wasn't bent but other than that one spot it looks great. Now only if I could get some airbags my car would be back to stock

Our import shop is a Certifit dealer. I can ship stuff out to any of you that are in need. Obviously I can't sell it to you for 100% cost (unless you are gonna employee me when I get fired), but I will make sure it is very reasonable.... I can check if they will drop ship for us. I am located in Fargo, North Dakota.

ooops,

Look at the right head light. see where the bumper comes up a little bit, yes i removed the bumper 3 times to try and fix it, this was all after i had sanded and primed it down that i noticed this mess up part.

All parts come in a base black plastic, it does have a coating on it which is going to need to be sanded off.
All metal parts must come with a base primer for any rust reason.

YOU REALLY REALLY need to check out the parts before u sand on em or anything, ive had lots of bumper problems but my hood (yes that hood) i got from them and chopped it up to get the scoop on, That part fit OK.

It's a hike for me too, but for all the money I'd save...it's worth it

Hey bob, did you paint that hood yourself? Or did someone else do it? How much did they charge? Thanks.

http://www.certifit.com/locations.html Someone posted before that the headlights are about $100 each so $200 total for 2. It's cheaper to buy the ones from eBay ($150 for 2 I think) or buy used ones from the Classified section.
