Those with TPS and IACV voltage xperience
My car is giving me idle problems and the power just jumps all around. When i hook my TPS to my voltmeter, the numbers bounce all around from .20 to .79 . When i thought i got it right, the idle is all messed up, then i adjust the IACV screw to regular idle, and the voltmeter goes down to .10 and the numbers are always jumping around again...is my tps bad??i got a computer diagnosis a while back and it said tps signal to tcm problem; sometimes when i come to a stop, the tranny slips because of that problem.Any1 out there with advice, please help??
I think your TPS is probably bad - http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/tps.html
Hi, great site, thankyou for your generosity of your time.
Quick question, if pin #1 from your write up, one the male plug furtherest from the drivers side has 0 volts does that mean there is a problem in the ecu? the car runs with it plugged in or not with very little change in rpms during the process, thought for sure it would throw a CEL. Only PO codes read from the reader is 0325 KS, 0120 TPS, and 1705 tranny or TPS which were cleared a few days ago and have not come back. car has 200k miles.
look forward to your response
