Got my Dynomax Super Turbo muffler installed this morning...

Am I happy with it? Yes and no. Yes, it has a nice groal to it, sounds better than the stock. No, it "drones". I read many postings on the site of guys who have it installed and state that it doesn't drone, but it does. It's a tolerable drone and maybe it will subside in time. But, I am still happy with it For now I hope it will give me better gas mileage; not that I wasn't getting good mileage to begin with. And performance is a bit better, but not too much over what I had before.

For those of you wondering which one I bought: Dynomax Super Turbo Model # 17748. Replaced the stock muffler with it. Left the rest of stock exhaust in place.

Pics? Where'd you get it from? How much? What's the inlet size?

If you're complaining about this chamber (large) muffler... try a "straight thru" one! You probably have one of the quietest mufflers available (due to it being chambered and large). Getting a Y pipe will increase the noise.

Are you using a resonator? you can squeeze a 22" X 4" Magnaflow resonator on the B-pipe... It will help. #10436
