Valve tapping?
Valve tapping?
Under hard acceleration, like quick starts, accelerating uphill, on-ramps, etc.....I can get the valves to tap, or at least it sounds like it.
Anyone else?
The oil level is good, had a new oil sending unit put in a couple years ago, and only have 70K miles on it.
Ideas?

It's probably ping that your hearing. A valve taps constantly if it's lose. Do you have CEL light on? A malfunctioning EGR system, among other things, can cause pinging under accelleration.
