bose cd clicking sound

My bose plays the first few songs fine then a clicking sound appears.Burned cd/s sound worse. I have a new face plate but its not installed yet, the screen is dead. Would repair be more than getting a changer? Any recomends on changers? Think the face plate will help? Any help would be great. Thanks

if you're thinking of fixing the head unit, you might as well get a new cd changer. I went to a dealer here in mass. and they told me that they had to take it out and ship it some place to get it fixed (cd was not playing, kept giving an error message). Told me the average cost was about $180, to fix it.

Checked with Courtesy Nissan and they had a trunk mounted changer for about 145. I just went and ordered that. Not sure if the sound is really annoying but I would say, if you have to fix it, might as well get a changer. Hope that helps. Check out the url below for Courtesy
