Painting z3 fenders

So i went to my local discount paint shop and ask an estimate on a paint job and clear coat for my new fenders, he gives me 200 dollars. A bit steep but not horrible, then i ask him if he matches the paint color to the car like PPG does. And he tells me black is black, it will look fine. Thats such BS, so now i dont know what to do, im not paying 200 dollars for unmatching paintjobs. Is there a way or nice airgun or something i can use to make the paint job look good on my own if i get the PPG paint. I plan on painting my car in a year or two so i dont want to pour tons of money into this, but i can roll around with primer either.

sounds shady, take it somewhere else. $200 actually sounds good but that guy doesnt sound like he is worth to spend $200 on if he doesnt even want to color match the paint.
